TVM-Chennai Duronto express from tomorrow
Southern Railway has announced the introduction of biweekly Duronto express train between Chennai and Thiruvananthapuram.
According to an official release, the inaugural Chennai Central-Thiruvananthapuram Duronto would leave Chennai at 5 p.m. on December 15 and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 5.45 a.m. the next day. Regular services of the biweekly train will be operated (from Chennai) on Tuesdays and Fridays and (from Thiruvananthapuram) on Wednesdays and Saturdays, the release added. Passenger reservation began today.
